Class Description
Course Description: Given the lethal threat posed by even incidental exposure to fentanyl and other
synthetic opioids, this course provides essential, life-saving training for law enforcement, criminal analysts, and community partners on the front lines of the narcotics crisis. This is not just a briefing; it is a hands-on class where you will learn to identify specific hazards, apply current tactics to mitigate them, and master the proper selection and wear of personal protective equipment. By also learning basic first aid for exposure, you will be equipped with the critical knowledge and skills necessary to protect yourself and your team when responding to any scene where these deadly substances may be present.
