Description: The smuggling of illegal and highly dangerous Chinese-manufactured pesticides into the United States for use in both legal and illegal marijuana cultivation has emerged as a growing threat. From Maine to California, illegal pesticides, herbicides, and banned plant growth regulators (PGRs) are being used in illicit cultivation operations, posing significant risks to public health and safety by contaminating communities, water sources, and agricultural areas.
This training will highlight the expanding dangers these illegal chemicals present to law enforcement, fire departments, EMS personnel, the public, and the environment.
