LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Build a foundational understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, core terminology, and how crypto activity appears in day-to-day work.
Explain key blockchain concepts covered in the (TRM-CFC) and apply them to
real-world investigative and compliance scenarios.
Recognize common crypto-crime typologies (e.g., fraud, scams, ransomware, sanctions evasion) and describe how those typologies manifest on-chain.
Use open-source tools and TRM products to identify addresses, interpret transactions, and trace funds at both the address and entity level across multiple blockchains.
