Electronic Surveillance and Major Drug Investigations

This class will focus on the initiation, the development, and the successful completion of major drug trafficking investigations using the most current law enforcement techniques.  The class will emphasize how to use electronic surveillance, particularly wiretaps, cellular telephone geographical location data, GPS trackers, and mobile cellular telephone locater equipment in order to enhance the success of these investigations.  As a part of the focus on electronic surveillance, the class will include several case presentations that demonstrate the successful execution of these various electronic surveillance techniques.
