Criminal interdiction through traffic enforcement is an 8-hour course designed for law enforcement and prosecuting attorneys that focuses on criminal enforcement from a traffic stop.
This course is designed to broaden a common traffic stop into a roadside investigation when faced with the criminal element.
Identifying indicators/factors of criminal enterprise can lead to the apprehension of major criminals including drug traffickers, drug dealers, wanted suspects, human traffickers, etc.
A team concept involving all cooperating agencies is emphasized.
This course covers indicators of illegal activity that law enforcement observes, current case law rulings and roadside investigative techniques.
