Class Description
This course will focus on providing law enforcement officers with the training needed for investigators to conduct court preferred interviewing and interrogation techniques. This course will teach methods to conduct non-verbal and behavioral analysis as well as verbal indicators that denote truth or deception.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
1. Implement best practices for conducting an interview
2. Understand the importance of rapport
3. Distinguish the main three types of interviews
4. Determine the correct time to provide the Miranda warning
5. Understand body language
6. Understand proxemics
