Class Description
Length: 3 Days (24 Hours)
Designed For: Law enforcement officers, which include uniform patrol, corrections, probation, fish and game and all other enforcement personnel who possess minimal or no experience in obtaining and writing search warrants.
Prerequisites: None.
Description: This course focuses on the constitutional requirements and the fundamentals of obtaining a search warrant; the purpose of the course is to assist the officer in developing the elements of probable cause; articulating such facts in written form and understanding the procedures in executing the search warrants. Topics from a simple drug warrant to transnational criminal organization dismantling will be discussed.
