Class Description
Analytical Tradecraft for Law Enforcement Agencies (ATLEA) maximizes your ability to analyze intelligence and build tailored products in support of counternarcotic investigations. ATLEA is intended for newly assigned analysts or those seeking to expand their analytical skill sets and leveraging them to combat Drug Trafficking Organizations and narcoterrorism.
Students will be trained in 35F MOS / 1N0X1 AFSC All-Source Intelligence instruction to explore the intelligence cycle, critical thinking, and the tools and resources available to them to collect and organize information.
This course provides an introduction to key topics such as Open Source/Social Media Analysis, Effects Based Planning, and Threat Finance Analysis. Students will use these skills on in-depth practical exercises and a challenging cumulative capstone project designed to provide students with a realistic experience of analyst duties for counternarcotic investigations.
